I spent the night at The Bishop Hotel in Port Townsend recently and I’m still dreaming about it. The room was so cozy—think soft lighting, plush bedding, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to curl up with a good book or someone cute. In the morning, I wandered downstairs to the Bishop Block Bottle Shop, which doubles as the hotel lobby (genius). I grabbed a buttery pastry and a glass of natural wine, then sat in a sun-drenched corner pretending I lived there. If you're heading to PT and want something beautiful, comfy, and a little magical—this is it. Stay the night. Mosey down for a treat. You’ll leave already plotting your next visit.

The Bishop Hotel is a nice boutique hotel in Port Townsend. The owner and his wife are very friendly, as are the other staff. The room was clean, spacious, and the bathroom remodeled. The hotel is walking distance to shops and restaurants along the main downtown waterfront strip. Definitely recommended for your next stay in PT. Cheers!

I stayed here two nights for a wedding I was in and so did the bride and groom! Super cool spot! The rooms are really spacious with loads of character. The first floor rooms are a little hard to find at first and are somewhat "away" from the rest of the hotel rooms, but I loved it. The entire place has charm, it's clean, and it's near a lot of downtown Port Townsend spots. The staff is incredibly communicative, and they are really great about coordinating after hour check-ins. The quality and details they put into the entire place is wonderful, and the wine and coffee were great! We're definitely going to stay again to explore the city more, and this is the spot we'll stay!

Legit the comfiest bed I have ever slept in!! The bedding, pillows, and mattress were all amazing, I wanted to get my own! The room was extremely clean and even had a view of the garden, which was beautiful, well cared for, and has cafe tables as well as fire pits. The service was excellent (everyone was so nice!) and the lobby has a cafe where you can get coffee and pastries, and there is a beautiful Mucha print above the fireplace. The only downside I can think of is that the Victorian soundproofing isn’t modern, so there’s some noise from outside; not a super busy street, but depends who is out driving around that night lol. I recommend bringing earplugs if you’re sensitive! That said, I loved waking up to the sound of barking sea lions in the morning. Magical Thank you for the stay, we’ll be back!!

This hotel is cute, the staff is super friendly and vibe is great. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the staircase leading up to the rooms. They put on events behind the hotel and do a great job in all aspects. Definitely give them a try.

We recently stayed at the Bishop hotel for the first time when we went to Port Townsend. The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for us and was easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and our whale watching tour. I especially appreciated their minimal touch on the victorian theme. Our lives have too much clutter already and I like to get away from that.
